Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience supporting audiovisual, classroom, conferencing, presentation, or related technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including willingness to investigate unfamiliar problems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with faculty, staff, students, vendors, and others.

Responsibilities

  • Take primary ownership of the University's audiovisual, classroom, meeting, and presentation technology environments.
  • Regularly evaluate the condition and reliability of AV systems and identify problems before they interfere with classes, meetings, or events.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve AV and related technology problems and coordinate repairs or vendor support when needed.
  • Provide technical support for University events and serve as the lead AV resource for complex or high-profile events.
  • Develop documentation and train other members of the User Services team so AV knowledge is shared.
