The Part-Time Auxiliary Event Officer supports the daily and special-event operations of the Campbell University Campus Safety Department. This position provides supplemental staffing for scheduled University events, special events, and emergency staffing situations without tying up regularly assigned Security Officer positions.
The Auxiliary Event Officer assists with maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming campus environment for students, employees, visitors, and guests. This position works closely with Campus Safety personnel and other University departments to provide security and safety support during events and periods of increased staffing needs.
This is a part-time auxiliary position with no guaranteed set schedule or number of hours. Work assignments are based on scheduled University events, special activities, emergency staffing situations, and the operational needs of the Campus Safety Department.
Employees in this position may be scheduled for daytime, evening, nighttime, weekend, and holiday assignments. Availability and reliability are essential due to the event-based nature of the position.
The Auxiliary Event Officer is expected to represent Campbell University and the Campus Safety Department in a professional and courteous manner at all times. The employee must maintain confidentiality, demonstrate good judgment, and provide a helpful and professional presence when interacting with members of the University community and the public.
