Job summary

Anduril Industries in Rhode Island is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to work with our engineering team on a multidisciplinary workflow to deliver world-class autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs). You will build complex electromechanical assemblies, route harnesses, and help scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures.

The role requires 3+ years in a mechanical field, comfort with fabrication and drawings, and a commitment to high-quality, collaborative work. Eligibility for a U.S.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical field experience (auto/marine/industrial equipment).
• Familiar with fabrication, basic hand tools, and plastic/metal part manufacturing.
• Able to read engineering drawings and other technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on AUV assembly and integration.
• Build, integrate, and test electro-mechanical assemblies into our AUVs.
• Route and service high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses.
• Design, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve build/test efficiency.
• Fabricate and modify machined parts and COTS components.
• Contribute to all stages of the vehicle development and manufacturing lifecycle and provide feedback to engineering.
• Help develop, document, and improve workflows.
• Assist in organizing on-site manufacturing operations and, if needed, travel offshore.
