Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quincy, MA is seeking an R&D Engineering Technician to fabricate high-quality electro-mechanical assemblies and support rapid prototyping for world-class AUVs. You will work hands-on with the engineering team to deliver multidisciplinary workflows and ensure efficient project execution.

Responsibilities include building and testing assemblies, routing cabling, designing fixtures, using MES/NetSuite/JIRA, and assisting training. A U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electronics experience in an R&D environment.
• Ability to work through R&D/Manufacturing tasks with limited oversight.
• Experience with building and troubleshooting cables and wiring harnesses.
• Familiar with soldering, crimping, assembling cables and connectors.
• Understanding of product life cycle (NPI to production), LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with reading electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to all stages of vehicle product development and provide feedback to engineering.
• Build, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies in AUVs.
• Route and service high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses.
• Design, prototype, and scale manufacturing jigs and fixtures to improve efficiency.
• Apply proficiency with hand tools and manufacturing equipment.
• Complete transactions in MES, NetSuite, JIRA daily.
• Provide training and support new operator training as required.
• Show up with urgency and enthusiasm to get the job done.
• Handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
