Job Details

• Salary: USD 16.44 Hourly
• Shift: Day shift with rotating weekends, up to 999 hours/year

Responsibilities

1. Recruits must meet physical and mental requirements; position involves exposure to sensitive and potentially disturbing situations.
2. Handle intake/release of bodies, document case logs, answer calls, and assist with inventory and cleaning tasks.
3. Perform radiologic procedures, document personal effects, maintain chain of custody, and take photographs.
4. Follow policies for a professional and safe environment.
5. Complete training for 2-4 weeks depending on skill level.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology; 1-2 years of experience preferred
• Skills in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word) preferred
• Strong problem-solving, communication, multi-tasking, and attention to detail skills
• Must be a self-starter

Special Requirements

• Must be 21+, possess valid ID, pass background check
• Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license may be required
• Maintain physical and mental stamina; cannot be related to current OCME employees or work for funeral/law enforcement agencies concurrently
