Job summary

Mavensoft Technologies, LLC is seeking a Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer III for an aerospace and defense program in Chandler, AZ. This on-site, 12-month W2 contract requires active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will design, implement, test and verify GNC algorithms and autopilot systems for missiles and space vehicles, using C++, MATLAB and Python in Linux environments, with 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, tuning, implementing, and testing guidance algorithms and autopilot parameters for missiles.
• Experience designing and testing missile autopilot systems and multiple control schemes.
• Strong understanding of missile control systems, classical and modern control theory.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining analysis tools in C++, MATLAB and Python.
• Proficiency in C++ development in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in MATLAB and Python toolchains.
• Travel 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, implements, verifies and tests GNC algorithms and software for aerospace vehicles.
• Develops simulation tools for guidance, navigation and control.
• Formulates guidance equations to achieve desired position, orientation or orbit.
• Develops control laws and hardware/software requirements for missiles and/or spacecraft.
