Job summary

Cintal, Inc. in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an Automation Validation Engineer to develop, test, and troubleshoot autonomy software for autonomous haul trucks.

You will validate onboard systems across perception, planning, and positioning with a strong emphasis on thorough test planning and documentation. Requirements include 2–4 years in engineering or CS, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in engineering or test/development of control systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot autonomy software systems for autonomous machines
• Validate onboard systems across Planning, Perception and Positioning technologies
• Perform thorough test planning, execution, and documentation of issues
• Communicate technical status and test results with the team
