Job summary

Pronto is seeking a technical detective to support our autonomous truck fleet based in San Francisco. In this role, you'll provide critical technical support and engage in root cause analysis to ensure operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, experience with logging and debugging, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly. You will work closely with our robotics, hardware, software, and operations teams to enhance operational reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant non-internship work experience.
• Ability to solve complex technical issues methodically.
• Experience with large-scale logs and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues.
• Experience with Linux systems and debugging tools.
• Experience with hardware systems.
• Experience writing code in C++ and Python.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions live from customers and operations team.
• Investigate and resolve complex system behaviors.
• Support teams by developing reproduction cases.
• Create automated test suites for system validation.
• Build monitoring and diagnostic systems.
• Document investigations and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Work with the operations team to improve diagnostics.
• Provide information about common issues to teams.
• Develop features and bug fixes with the robotics team.
