Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or related field.
• 6+ years in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or similar role in AV/aerospace/robotics.
• Proven ability to define and analyze complex systems and scenarios.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies, including cameras, radar, and lidar.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Experience using Python or Matlab for analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, define, and analyze bounding use cases and challenging scenarios for our autonomous driving system.
• Develop and document nominal system requirements for the autonomy sensor suite (cameras, radar, lidar).
• Perform trade studies and analyses to evaluate system architectures and sensor configurations against requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure designs meet the documented requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
