Job summary

Talentify in Foster City, CA, seeks an onsite Systems Engineer for a 6+ month engagement. You will identify use cases for autonomous driving, document requirements for the sensor suite, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure designs meet specs.

Qualifications

Pay rate: $90/hr. – $97.00/hr. on w2 (All Inclusive)

Job Description:

• Identify, define, and analyze bounding use cases and challenging scenarios for our autonomous driving system.
• Develop and document nominal system requirements for the autonomy sensor suite (including cameras, radar, and lidar) based on your analysis.
• Perform trade studies and analysis to evaluate different system architectures and sensor configurations against known requirements.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure that the system design meets the documented requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation
• Present your findings to technical and non-technical audiences

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, requirements analysis, or a similar role in the autonomous vehicle, aerospace, or robotics industry.
• Proven experience in defining and analyzing complex systems and scenarios.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies, including cameras, radar, and lidar.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Experience using Python or other high level languages (eg. Matlab) for analysis
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Bonus Qualifications:

• Familiarity with state-of-the‑art perception and planning algorithms
