Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a Robotic Software Engineer in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to design and integrate autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems across hardware and software. You will deploy autonomy algorithms in SIL, HIL, and live environments, work with embedded Linux, sensors, and aircraft/UAV interfaces, and collaborate with DoD and commercial customers.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science or related engineering field.
3+ years of hands-on experience with robotic systems (hardware, software, and integration).
Experience with C++ and integrating autonomy products with Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot and/or PX4).

Responsibilities

Design and integrate complex autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems spanning hardware and software.
Deploy autonomy algorithms in SIL, HIL, and live test environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions for defense and commercial customers.
Troubleshoot integration issues and provide customer-facing demonstrations.
