Job summary

Polymath Robotics is seeking an engineer to own end-to-end vehicle bringup—from simulation to on-vehicle operations—while continuously improving automation across multiple vehicle types. You will contribute to ROS2 architecture, collaborate with clients, and support integrators with sensor placement, logs, and remote debugging.

The role emphasizes hands-on robotics experience, strong communication, and the ability to automate manual processes, with a hybrid work model based in our SF Mission

Qualifications

  • Strong in one or more of: C++, Python, ROS/ROS2, systems architecture, or test automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Own vehicle bringup end-to-end across simulation, bench, and on-vehicle phases.
  • Build and extend automated test suites that auto-generate issues on failure.
  • Find reusable patterns in one-off requests and generalize for future vehicles.
  • Support integrators and customers on-site and remotely with sensor placement and logs/ROS bags.
  • Communicate with clients to align requirements and explain system capabilities.
