Job summary

DeWinter Group seeks a Software Engineer to join the Autonomy Behavior ML Data Optimization team. You will build data pipelines handling large driving datasets, enabling discovery, curation, and validation of driving scenarios for safe AV operation.

You will work across the data stack, from backend services to frontend interfaces, delivering scalable, reliable data infrastructure and tools for internal stakeholders. This onsite role in Foster City requires strong collaboration and data expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering focusing on data processing and pipelines.
• Experience designing and optimizing distributed data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Strong Python production pipeline and web service experience (FastAPI/Uvicorn).
• Familiarity with SQL, dashboards, and large-scale data manipulation.
• Experience orchestrating workflows with Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize scalable data pipelines for driving scenario discovery in AV data.
• Develop robust data infrastructure and tools across the data stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable rapid insights and validation.
