Applied Intuition, Inc. is a Sunnyvale-based leader in data-driven autonomy, seeking an Engineering Manager for the Autonomy Data team.

You will oversee data quality, labeling workflows, and data mining to accelerate autonomy development and scale labeling with AI-powered automation. You will guide a world-class team, set objectives, and collaborate with research and data infrastructure to ensure high-quality, diverse data powering our models.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Experience building data quality systems, labeling pipelines, or annotation platforms at scale.
• Familiarity with modern ML infrastructure and data-centric AI approaches.
• Understanding of how foundation models can be applied to automate data workflows.
• Solid track record of building and deploying products.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, well-labeled data and identify critical edge cases for autonomy.
• Prioritize development across data quality systems, labeling workflows, and data mining infrastructure.
• Lead the integration of foundation models (LLMs, VLMs, multimodal models) to automate labeling, QA, and data discovery.
• Evolve data engine architecture to scale high-fidelity labels and accelerate ML iteration cycles.
• Set team goals and roadmaps aligned with training, evaluation, and deployment requirements.
• Partner with research, autonomy, and data infra teams to ensure high-quality data powering models.
• Drive hiring, mentoring, and growth for a high-performing, mission-driven team.
