Job summary

Nuro is seeking an Autonomy Leader in Mountain View, CA to drive the development and evaluation systems for the Nuro Driver. You will set the technical roadmap with Autonomy and Infrastructure teams, design evaluation algorithms, and push for fast, high-quality technical execution to scale autonomy for millions of people and goods.

Ideal candidates have a BS in a quantitative field, 5+ years of industry experience, and strong Python skills, with expertise in AI/ML and robotics.

• BS in computer science, robotics, statistics, physics, math or another quantitative field.
• 5+ years of industry experience.
• Demonstrated Python proficiency through past work.
• Must have technical skills in AI/ML and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy algorithms to measure the performance of ML models powering the Nuro Driver.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Autonomy and Infrastructure engineers to set a unified evaluation roadmap.
• Leverage evaluation frameworks to identify improvements and drive technical execution for NuroDriver.
