Pratt Miller, an Oshkosh company, is seeking an Autonomy Engineering intern to join our team. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to develop and test autonomous navigation, perception, or control algorithms.

Ideal candidates are pursuing MS/PhD in robotics or related fields, with strong C/C++, ROS1/ROS2, and Linux skills. Daytime schedule Monday-Friday; some night/weekend work may be required for surge periods.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS or PhD in Robotics or related field; BS with relevant coursework will be considered.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
• Experience with ROS1 or ROS2 and Linux.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.
• Hands-on autonomous systems project experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of autonomous navigation, perception, or control algorithms.
• Analyze and interpret sensor data to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomy solutions.
• Document and present findings to the engineering team.
