Job summary

Pratt Miller, an Oshkosh company, seeks an Autonomy Engineering intern to join our team in Michigan. You will aid in developing autonomous algorithms, work with ROS1/ROS2 and C/C++, and gain hands-on robotics experience on real projects.

You will collaborate with engineers to interpret sensor data, advance perception and control capabilities, and present findings. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with some surge work as needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing MS/PhD preferred; BS with coursework or project experience considered.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming.
• Experience with ROS1/ROS2 and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of autonomous navigation, perception, or control algorithms.
• Analyze data from sensors to improve system performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomy solutions.
• Document and present findings to engineering team.
