Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing company, is seeking an Autonomy Engineer (Level 2) to advance fault management and autonomy for space missions. This 100% onsite role will define onboard fault detection/responses and support on-orbit operations with a strong emphasis on system architecture and DRM/CONOPS.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and 2+ years in satellite design/operation, Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, STK, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in satellite design/operation.
• Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, STK.

Responsibilities

• Define fault and autonomy requirements, verification and validation.
• Maintain satellite/constellation states, modes and transitions.
• Contribute to architecture concepts, CONOPS and trade studies.
• Design and validate onboard fault detection, isolation and responses; end-to-end validation of autonomy products.
• Support on-console operations for on-orbit missions.
