Job summary

Devereux New York in Red Hook, NY seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat communication disorders in students, collaborate with educators, and support program planning with behavioral staff.

The SLP will conduct intake assessments, develop diagnostic reports, implement individual and group therapy, and coordinate with staff to address language, voice and hearing needs while ensuring compliance with school-based protocols.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Therapy.
• NYS Certification in Speech and Language (TSSLD) or in process.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students upon intake and prepare diagnostic reports.
• Provide individual and/or group therapy for speech and language issues.
• Liaise with staff to coordinate program planning and therapy needs.
• Remediate speech and language difficulties and monitor progress.
