Job summary

gpac LLC. is seeking a Commercial Project Manager for the Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL area. The role oversees commercial construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction across the project team.

The position emphasizes ownership, relationship-building with clients and subcontractors, and the ability to drive projects forward without bureaucratic delays. Local Tampa Bay work and avenues for advancement are highlighted.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with a general contractor.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to own projects, manage relationships with owners and subs, and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost reports.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change management.
• Coordinate with Superintendents to align field and office objectives.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, pay apps, and project documentation.
• Maintain communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Identify issues early and drive solutions to protect project profitability.
