Job summary

Bot Auto is seeking an Algorithm Engineer, Deep Learning & Vision (New Grad) in Houston, TX or the San Francisco Bay Area. You will participate in developing and optimizing deep learning models for autonomous driving, covering perception, mapping, and planning.

You will work under domain experts across data curation, experimentation, and performance verification, while staying current with CV and generative AI advances and bench-testing SOTA methods for real-world corner cases.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning.
• Experience running end-to-end model training and evaluation.
• Familiarity with modern architectures (Transformers, CNNs, Graphs).
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch; solid software engineering basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, train, and optimize state-of-the-art deep learning models for autonomous driving.
• Manage full ML workflow from data curation to model evaluation and deployment.
• Collaborate with simulation, infrastructure, and control teams to integrate ML components.
• Monitor literature trends in CV and generative AI and bench-test relevant SOTA methods.
