Job summary

HireArt is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the build and maintenance of test systems used to validate autonomous vehicle designs. You will assemble custom hardware for Hardware-in-the-Loop testing, diagnose equipment, and collaborate with engineering teams on complex issues.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with test hardware, cable harnessing, and computer components, with onsite work in Foster City, CA.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with test hardware and configurations.
• Experience building, repairing, and diagnosing computers and components.
• Familiarity with cable harnessing and networked test platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support and track configurations of test platforms for vehicle simulation.
• Assemble hardware to enable Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of software builds.
• Build computers from off-the-shelf components and manage wiring.
• Integrate network and vehicle components in server racks.
• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot test hardware and equipment.
• Create and update tickets for hardware work and incidents.
• Coordinate parts reception, installs, upgrades, and decommissioning.
