Job summary

Latitude AI is seeking a Test Driver to support Ford autonomy initiatives. You will drive test vehicles across multiple states, collecting data and ensuring safety during development missions.

The role features a 6-day, up to 60-hour workweek with 3 weeks on and 1 week off; airfare is provided for travel. This is a 1-year contract with travel-focused responsibilities and strict safety and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; higher degrees preferred.
• Valid driver's license in residence state; clean driving record.
• Active passport or passport card.
• Ability to pass drug and background checks; flexibility for long hours on road.

Responsibilities

• Drive test vehicles across multiple states to collect data on multi-day missions.
• Operate on a 6-day, up to 60-hour schedule with 3 weeks on / 1 week off; airfare provided.
• Perform start-up, engagement/disengagement, and shutdown procedures for development vehicles.
• Monitor and troubleshoot software and hardware systems while on the road.
• Execute data collection under strict safety and compliance protocols.
• Maintain detailed reports on system performance and data collection achievements.
• Represent the organization professionally while prioritizing road safety.
