Job summary

Latitude AI is recruiting a Test Driver to support Ford’s autonomy roadmap. You will drive test vehicles on long-distance local missions and extensive travel, with up to 50% travel across the U.S., operating on rotating schedules.

You’ll perform start-up, engagement, and shutdown procedures and report vehicle performance to engineers. This role requires a valid driver's license, a safety-conscious mindset, and the ability to work autonomously or with a team.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver’s license and ability to meet background checks.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor’s preferred.
• Comfortable with long hours behind the wheel and travel across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Drive test vehicles for local and long-distance missions, including multi-day trips across the U.S.
• Operate on rotating schedules and perform start-up, engagement, and shutdown procedures.
• Monitor and troubleshoot software and hardware systems while on the road.
• Maintain detailed reports on vehicle performance and collaborate with engineers for feedback.
