Job summary

Latitude AI is seeking a Test Driver to support the development and validation of our hands-free ADAS platform. Based in Michigan, you will drive test vehicles under controlled protocols, collect data, and work with engineers to refine performance.

This role requires long hours, extensive road travel (up to 50%), and strict adherence to safety procedures. A HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and background checks are required; familiarity with diagnostics or fleet software is a plus.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with two years of employment experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Pass ten-panel drug screening and criminal background checks prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Drive test vehicles for long-distance local missions (up to 300-400 miles) and extensive travel (up to 50% of time).
• Operate on rotating schedules.
• Perform daily start-up, system engagement/disengagement, and shutdown procedures for development vehicles.
• Actively monitor and troubleshoot both software and hardware systems while on the road.
• Execute testing in accordance with safety and compliance protocols.
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports on vehicle performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback on system performance.
• Represent the organization professionally while driving in public environments.
