RLink Solutions LLC in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an Autonomous Vehicle Technician contractor to support daily readiness of AV data collection fleets through inspection, sensor cleaning, and calibration. This onsite role emphasizes SOP-driven tasks and reliable execution.

The position is for 12+ months, requires basic Linux familiarity and detail-oriented work, with potential weekend coverage based on fleet schedules. Prior AV experience not required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow detailed technical SOPs and document results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle inspections, sensor cleaning, and basic upkeep.
• Set up targets and execute documented sensor calibration and alignment procedures.
• Run prescribed validation checks and record pass/fail results.
• Perform basic cable, connector, and component inspections.
• Support documented sensor swaps and vehicle preparation.
• Record work, calibration results, and vehicle status in tracking systems.
• Escalate failed calibrations, unexpected alerts, and undocumented faults.
• Basic Linux operations: use SSH/SCP to access vehicle systems and perform basic troubleshooting.
