Job summary

Arthur Lawrence is seeking an AV Fleet Technician II to maintain fleet readiness on-site in Sunnyvale, CA. The role involves calibrating sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, radar, and IMU, performing hardware replacements, and diagnosing failures.

You will troubleshoot and provision software/firmware, coordinate with remote engineers, and document your findings for escalation as needed. The position requires hands-on experience with electronics, robotics, and AV systems, along with proficiency in

Qualifications

3 years in hardware maintenance, electronics troubleshooting, robotics, automotive electronics, or comparable work.
Working proficiency with Linux CLI, including remote access (SSH/SCP), log analysis, service management, network diagnostics, and execution of Bash/Python scripts for troubleshooting and validation.

Responsibilities

Execute and troubleshoot camera, LiDAR, radar, and IMU calibration workflows.
Diagnose common sensor faults, harness/connectivity issues, and calibration failures.
Perform hardware replacement, component checks, and validation tests.
Monitor alerts and tickets, coordinate with remote engineering, and restore vehicles to service.
Document findings and provide technical guidance to Technician I contractors.
Escalate complex or undocumented failures to Technician III or engineering.
Linux Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: use Linux CLI tools to diagnose connectivity, service, and system issues; review logs, run scripts, and provision software/firmware.
