Job summary

IMCS Group in Sunnyvale, CA, is seeking an AV Fleet Technician I to support daily readiness of autonomous vehicle data-collection fleets through inspection, sensor cleaning, calibration, and vehicle turnaround. This contractor role follows established SOPs and requires no prior AV experience.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work onsite with the capacity to lift up to 40 lbs; flexibility for alternative shifts and occasional travel to SFO

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed technical SOPs and document results accurately.
• Basic familiarity with Linux command-line operations, including SSH, SCP, file navigation and execution of documented commands.
• Basic computer proficiency and hands-on mechanical or electronics aptitude.
• Attention to detail, dependable execution and clear communication.

Location – Sunnyvale, CA (Candidates must possess the flexibility and logistical capacity to transition to SFO for future operational needs.)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM with possibility of 3PM-12AM swing shift

Are there any mandatory requirements the candidate must have?

Technical Aptitude:

Basic mechanical/electronics aptitude, computer proficiency, and ability to accurately follow technical SOPs.

Basic Linux Competency:

Familiarity with SSH, SCP, file navigation, and executing documented commands. Advanced troubleshooting is not required.

General Requirements:
