Job summary

TaskUs is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Roadside Assistance Agent to troubleshoot self‑driving cars, reboot their systems, and monitor vehicle behavior from a company vehicle in service areas. You’ll also engage with the public, explaining how autonomous tech works and helping passengers have a safe, smooth journey.

The role involves basic troubleshooting of devices, coordinating with engineers, completing daily reports, and upholding safety policies.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic computer troubleshooting and rebooting vehicles.
• Ability to monitor multiple software systems.
• Familiarity with Android devices and laptop connectivity.
• Strong situational awareness and adaptability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the public.
• Commitment to safety procedures and zero-tolerance policy.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in basic computer troubleshooting to reboot vehicles.
• Monitor multiple software systems continuously.
• Connect Android devices or laptops to issue commands.
• Work 6-8 hours daily, 5 days a week in service areas.
• Safely operate a non-autonomous vehicle while monitoring AVs.
• Provide feedback on vehicle operations.
• Complete daily reports and document tests.
• Educate the public about self-driving technology.
• Adhere to zero-tolerance policy regarding alcohol or drugs.
