Job summary

General Motors is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Regulatory Program Manager to lead cross-functional regulatory compliance programs that support the safe development, testing, and deployment of autonomous driving systems.

You will translate regulatory requirements into actionable work plans, coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Legal, and Government Affairs, and manage submissions, audits, and inquiries to keep GM compliant and prepared for evolving external expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable plans.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive AV regulatory compliance programs across multiple stakeholders.
• Coordinate regulatory requirements across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
• Support regulatory submissions, audits, and inquiries with timely inputs and approvals.
• Establish governance, risk management, and issue resolution processes for regulatory initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in regulatory planning, tools, and cross-team collaboration.
