Job summary
Bastian Automation, a division of Toyota Automated Logistics, is seeking a skilled and versatile Project Engineer with automation experience who will graduate in 2027 to join our Autonomous Vehicle Division in Georgetown, KY. As a Project Engineer, you will lead design and execution of complex automation projects, troubleshoot systems, install on-site, and help develop AGVs and accessories.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; U.S. work eligibility.
- Strong automation and robotics background required.
- Experience leading projects in fast-paced R&D environments.
- Willingness to travel 50% and collaborate cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design automation systems, incorporating system concepts, design elements, and interlocks.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex systems including electrical, PLCs, navigation, and sensors.
- Assemble vehicles and systems and provide on-site installation support.
- Support development of new products such as AGVs and accessories.
- Provide technical assistance to customers and dealers on automation and AV projects; create documentation.
