Job summary
Bastian Automation, a division of Toyota Automated Logistics, is seeking a Project Engineer with automation experience to join our Autonomous Vehicle Division in Georgetown, KY. You will develop and implement advanced automation systems for AGVs, troubleshoot complex equipment, and provide on-site support to customers and dealers.
You will collaborate with project teams, document specifications, and drive kaizen improvements across initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience with robotics, autonomous vehicle systems, and logistics.
- Proven ability to design, debug, and implement automation projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and design automation systems for AGV and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex systems including PLCs, navigation, sensors, and networking.
- Provide on-site installation support and customer technical assistance.
- Document specifications and create user manuals for deployed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure kaizen-driven improvements.
- Travel up to 50% for project support and customer engagement.
