Job summary
Bastian Automation, a division of Toyota Automated Logistics, seeks a Robotics Technician in Georgetown, KY, with up to 50% travel to client sites for AGV installations and support. You will install and troubleshoot AGV systems, provide training on autonomous vehicle technologies, and collaborate with engineering, PMs, and support teams.
The role involves wiring, soldering, and reading electrical schematics, with on-site and remote support as needed.
Qualifications
- Associates degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Reading schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Wiring, soldering, and use of basic hand tools.
- Experience with automation tech (PLCs, motors, sensors).
Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in proto-typing, testing, assembly, and modifications of AGVs.
- Setup and program AGV systems and interfaces.
- Create technical instruction sheets for field use.
- Read schematics and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Provide lab logistics support for test and build; deliver technical reports.
