Job summary

Uber is seeking a Lead Product Manager for Autonomous Vehicle Platforms to define vehicle-to-platform integration and drive standards that enable scalable deployments. You will partner with OEMs and cross-functional teams to specify hardware and software interfaces, and steer roadmap decisions for multiple vehicle generations.

The role requires deep vehicle systems knowledge, experience bringing hardware to market, and the judgment to make platform-level decisions in ambiguous, high-stakes

Qualifications

• Experience building and launching complex hardware or vehicle products from prototype through production.
• Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers to define requirements and schedules.
• Strong fluency in vehicle systems and architecture to balance mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software trade-offs.
• Ability to own ambiguous cross-functional initiatives end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Own platform strategy and requirements for Autonomous Vehicle Platforms for reliable operation.
• Define minimum vehicle specs across OEM partnerships to support Uber's use cases.
• Manage onboard hardware, embedded software, interfaces, and system architecture evolution.
• Lead partner and OEM engagements, resolving gaps and aligning internal experts.
• Communicate roadmap and risks to leadership clearly.
