Job summary

Trucking People is seeking an AV Operations Supervisor to oversee daily autonomous vehicle operations, safety, and team performance. You will supervise operators, coordinate shifts, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, experience with AV testing, and availability for training-related travel. Day and night shifts are offered, with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of Autonomous Vehicle Operator experience REQUIRED.
• Active AVT permit REQUIRED.
• Excellent driving record.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with autonomous vehicle testing and operations.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be available for one month of training-related travel.
• Must have a driver license for 3 year without gaps.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of Autonomous Vehicle Operators.
• Oversee daily vehicle testing and fleet operations.
• Ensure safety procedures and operational standards are followed.
• Train, coach, and provide performance feedback to operators.
• Coordinate schedules, assignments, and shift reports.
• Assist with software/hardware testing and troubleshooting.
• Work hands-on alongside operators to meet daily goals.
