Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. seeks a Hardware Integration Engineer in Sunnyvale, CA to design and build next-generation compute and sensor hardware for autonomous and AI-driven vehicles.

You will work across the hardware lifecycle — from schematic design and PCB layout to bring-up, validation, and production support — collaborating closely with software, firmware, and mechanical teams to ship reliable systems into production vehicle programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital/analog electronics, and PCB layout.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) for hardware debug.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware specs.

Responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface hardware.
• Support hardware bring-up and debug, including board- and component-level troubleshooting.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate hardware functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware with embedded systems and validate end-to-end functionality.
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers to support prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp.
• Contribute to hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.
