Job summary

Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer for a client in the transportation and autonomous vehicle sector. You will serve as the primary contact for real-time sensor fleet escalations and drive root-cause analysis across hardware and software logs.

Responsibilities include developing troubleshooting guides, validating new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve tooling and fleet reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles focusing on perception systems and sensors.
• Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and troubleshooting safety protocols.
• Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture and communication protocols.
• Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations for sensor-related fleet issues.
• Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through log review to identify and resolve fleet issues.
• Develop, update, and maintain troubleshooting guides for technicians, incorporating new fault diagnoses and resolutions.
• Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new sensor components such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance tooling and improve issue detection capabilities, ensuring fleet reliability and performance.
