Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) in Preston, Idaho, is seeking a Field Tester I to perform hands-on testing of autonomous vehicles and heavy equipment in real-world environments. The role requires readiness for a two-week on-site ramp-up and frequent on-site and off-site testing with high safety standards.

You will execute manual test plans, document defects, analyze data, and collaborate with scrum teams during software releases. Up to 90% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable operating and testing construction/heavy equipment during a two-week on-site ramp-up.
• Ability to execute manual test plans on autonomous vehicles in real-world environments.
• Willingness to lift and carry test equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test plans on autonomous vehicles in real-world environments.
• Operate and control heavy equipment and test vehicles under various conditions.
• Work closely with scrum teams to conduct user-acceptance testing for software releases.
• Identify, document, and report defects using JIRA and Jama (bug tracking tools).
• Collect and analyze test data to validate system functionality.
• Assist in on-site and off-site testing, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
