Job summary

AutoNation in Miami is seeking an Advanced Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Technician to diagnose, repair, calibrate, and integrate AV systems on our fleet. You will work with sensors, compute modules, CAN/LIN networks, and high‑voltage systems, performing root‑cause analysis and validating repairs.

You'll partner with engineering, operations, and field safety teams, support software deployments, data extraction, and firmware testing, and contribute to continuous improvement through detailed

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering docs.
• Exposure to CAN/LIN tools and automotive diagnostic software.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repair on AV powertrain, high‑voltage systems, and subsystems.
• Calibrate LiDAR, radar, cameras, GPS, and perception hardware.
• Support hardware/software deployments, data extraction, and firmware testing.
• Conduct on‑road and closed‑course testing and troubleshoot field issues as needed.
• Document repairs, calibrations, and improvements.
