You will:
- Safely operate Einride’s autonomous electric truck for customer and R&D operations.
- Remain alert and attentive while monitoring Einride’s autonomous electric truck during autonomy.
- Perform checks to ensure Einride’s autonomous electric truck is safe to operate.
- Log platform performance feedback for engineering analysis.
- Troubleshoot and escalate system issues and operational blockers.
- Provide input on the Einride remote interface and operating procedures to cross‑functional stakeholders including but not limited to commercial, operations, product, and engineering teams.
- Maintain knowledge of Einride’s autonomous system.
- Utilize project and issue tracking tools (Jira, Fleetio, or similar).
We expect you to:
- Minimum 5 years of experience driving commercial trucks.
- Current, non‑expired CDL license (class A).
- Clean driving record with 0 violation points.
- Meet driver requirements, including driving record and criminal history under applicable regulations and laws in the state(s) in which the Remote Operator will be working.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have experience with technical troubleshooting or willingness to learn quickly.
- Be safety focused and not afraid to raise immediate safety concerns and suggest paths to resolution.
- Be reliable and consistent; ensure work is thorough and holds a high standard.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with team members and stakeholders.
- Think creatively and provide solutions when the solution is not always clear.
- Be flexible and able to work Monday‑Friday between the hours of 6:00am‑7:30pm; subject to change based on customer needs.
- Be willing to travel as needed, up to 25%.
- Have the right to work in the US.
- Live within 45 minutes of downtown Austin.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience working with autonomous trucks or commercial heavy‑duty fleets.
- Experience as truck driver trainer/instructor.
- Curious attitude, interested in solving problems.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in operations, technology, or automotive.
- Proficient in G‑suite or other office tools.
- Major credit card in candidate’s name.
- Valid US passport.
