Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking THREE Autonomous Technology Support Technicians to join its team in Bagdad, AZ, working on state-of-the-art autonomous heavy machinery for mine operations. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and supporting onboard and wireless technologies to improve safety and efficiency.

Candidates should have 2+ years in hardware/software troubleshooting, strong organizational and customer service skills, and willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and extreme conditions.
• Willingness to work in extreme temperatures, humidity, or exposure to chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support onboard and wireless technologies used in Mine Operations, including fleet management, safety, reliability, monitoring, and production systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and testing on low-voltage devices, wireless networks, and infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow SOPs.
• Support 2-way radios, GPS, and wireless clients for vehicles.
• Participate in safety and environmental programs and ensure MIS policy compliance.
• Deliver strong customer service while managing tasks efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Description: Our client is currently seeking THREE Autonomous Technology Support Technicians to join their rapidly evolving team working on state of the art technology in the minerals and mining space. This role will be joining a team working on autonomous heavy machinery that will forever change their industry and make leaps and bounds forwards in safety and efficiency. Excited yet!?

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and support a wide range of onboard and wireless technologies used in Mine Operations, including fleet management, safety, reliability, monitoring, and production systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues to minimize equipment downtime.
• Perform preventative maintenance and testing on low-voltage devices, wireless networks, and associated infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Support 2-way radios, GPS systems, and wireless clients for heavy and light vehicles.
• Participate in safety and environmental programs and ensure compliance with MIS policies.
• Deliver strong customer service while managing tasks efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned.

Must Have Qualifications & Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience in computer/electronic systems hardware/software troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as needed
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to work in a physically demanding and potentially stressful environment
• Willingness to work in extreme conditions including temperature, humidity, and exposure to chemicals or airborne particles

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS/IT related field preferred
• Associate’s degree in information technology or related field preferred
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• CompTIA Network+, A+, or equivalent certification preferred
• Rajant, Cisco, or similar network certification preferred
• Electrical/Electronic certification preferred
• Autonomous technology troubleshooting experience preferred
• Two (2) years of experience supporting wireless networks and onboard technologies in mining or industrial environments preferred
