The role focuses on identifying hazards, defining safety requirements, and integrating safety into design and validation across autonomous systems and robotics projects. The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in safety engineering, experience with STPA or similar hazard analysis methods, and strong collaboration and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of experience in safety engineering, systems analysis, or related fields.
• Experience with hazard analysis methodologies such as STPA or similar techniques
• Knowledge of industry safety standards relevant to autonomous vehicles or robotics
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and risks using STPA to ensure safety compliance
• Support the definition of safety requirements throughout the product development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety measures into design, development, verification, and validation processes
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements for autonomous systems
• Contribute to safety documentation and support safety audits and reviews
