Job summary

Sunstar Insurance Group in Humboldt, TN is seeking an Account Manager for the Select Business Unit to own end-to-end servicing of a small commercial book with autonomy and minimal producer involvement.

You will handle endorsements, certificates, audits, renewals, marketing, carrier communications, and coverage reviews to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Provide claims guidance as needed and educate clients on options for stronger protection.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license is required.
• Experience managing a small commercial book of business.
• Strong knowledge of small commercial coverages and carrier markets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned small commercial accounts.
• Independently manage endorsements, certificates, audits, and billing inquiries.
• Lead renewals, marketing, and carrier negotiations with minimal producer involvement.
• Identify coverage gaps and cross-sell opportunities.
• Support claims and guide clients through the claims process.
• Maintain thorough account documentation in the agency management system.
