Saronic Technologies is seeking a Marine Alignment Technician to enhance vessel drivetrain alignment on autonomous ships at our Franklin, LA shipyard. This role involves hands-on technical work and collaboration with teams to ensure equipment alignment and functionality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, technical certification or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in shipbuilding, marine operations, or related fields.
• Ability to work in waterfront environments and around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with machinery alignment and equipment quality assessments.
• Perform equipment inspections and operational verification during construction.
• Coordinate with teams to support vessel readiness and delivery.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and hands-on problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Experience working with mechanical, electrical systems

Strong communication skills

Education
