Job summary
Saronic Technologies is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot diesel engines on our autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) to ensure optimal performance and reliability in marine operations. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults using diagnostic tools, inspect components, and overhaul engines when needed.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational diesel training preferred.
- Proven experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment such as scan tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines to ensure longevity.
- Diagnose and repair engine malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
- Inspect components and test subsystems for potential issues.
- Overhaul and rebuild engines and related systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate service records of parts, labor, and schedules.
- Follow safety protocols and collaborate with technicians and engineers.
