Trucking People is seeking a Robot Service Technician in San Angelo, TX. This in-person, full-time contract role pays $25.00–$28.00 per hour and covers production, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of self-driving delivery robots.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in automotive, manufacturing, mechanical, or electrical environments and enjoy hands-on problem-solving across diverse technical tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in automotive, manufacturing, robotics, electronics, or related fields.
• Experience using mechanical and electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to read 2D mechanical drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record in the past 12 months.
• Comfortable working in field environments.

Responsibilities

• Assemble harnesses, cables, connectors, and electronic components.
• Install, test sensors including LiDAR, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on autonomous delivery robots.
• Diagnose equipment issues and support field testing and prototyping.
• Travel between local sites to provide onsite technical support.
