Job summary

Trucking Talent Solutions in San Angelo, TX is seeking a Robot Service Technician to support the production, maintenance, and repair of self-driving delivery robots. You will assemble cables and sensors, install LiDAR, diagnose issues, and perform preventative maintenance onsite.

Schedule: 7:30 AM–10:30 PM, Mon–Sun with weekend coverage. Work location is in the Angelo State area, on-site at the facility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read basic 2D mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR for the past 12 months.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cables, harnesses, connectors, and robot components.
• Install and replace LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and other electronics.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Test batteries, suspensions, sensors, and other components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the robot fleet.
• Provide local field support and assist with R&D testing.
• Maintain parts, tools, and inventory.

What You'll Do

• Assemble cables, harnesses, connectors, and robot components
• Install and replace LiDAR, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and other electronics
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Test batteries, suspensions, sensors, and other components
• Perform preventative maintenance on the robot fleet
• Provide local field support and assist with R&D testing
• Maintain parts, tools, and inventory

Requirements

• Automotive, dealership, manufacturing, or technician experience preferred
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable using computers and diagnostic tools
• Ability to read basic 2D mechanical drawings
• Valid driver's license with a clean MVR for the past 12 months
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
• Soldering experience is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Schedule: Operating hours expected between 7:30 AM–10:30 PM, Mon–Sun; schedule TBD with flexible weekend coverage.
