Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a highly autonomous Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across CVICU, MICU, NICU, and specialized labs. You will use evidence-based protocols, lead airway interventions, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and supervisors to optimize ventilatory support.

Graduate of AMA-approved school; Associate's degree in Respiratory Care with RRT credentialing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Care and RRT credentialing required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred when available.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement, and adjust respiratory therapies with full clinical autonomy.
• Independently modify ventilator settings and oxygenation strategies in critical situations.
• Lead airway interventions, including intubations.
• Collaborate across disciplines, serving on hospital-wide committees that drive excellence.
• Ensure compliance with policies through complete and accurate documentation.
