Harbor Health seeks a team-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multi-specialty clinic in El Paso at the Rushfair practice. As a clinical leader in primary care, you will deliver effective services with safe clinical decision-making while collaborating with the practice team to transform healthcare through our payvider model.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and certified by NCCPA or Nurse Practitioner Program and certified by ANC or AANP
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to practice in the State of Texas
• Licensed and certified to practice in Family Medicine
• Current DEA and CPR certification
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements
• Comfortable working as a solo provider in a clinic team setting
• Computer literacy with ability to navigate electronic health record systems
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds
• Strong teamwork capabilities while maintaining ability to function independently
• Sound judgment and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Interview members to obtain medical history, perform physical examinations, order tests, prescribe medications, and recommend treatments
• Provide continuity in managed care for members with long-term conditions
• Make referrals for secondary and tertiary care in collaboration with the care team
• Perform medical procedures according to issued privileges
• Provide health maintenance visits, evaluate immunization needs, and provide guidance and referrals
• Perform employment and other physical examinations
• Conduct STD screening and family planning
• Document and code all member contacts in the EMR
• Function as an active member of the medical team
• Participate in and manage care team meetings
• Contribute to organizational initiatives and education, quality review, and mission-aligned activities
