Job summary
Harbor Health's Timber Wolf practice in El Paso seeks a team-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead our multi-specialty clinic. You will deliver comprehensive primary care, coordinate with the care team, and advance our payvider model through safe clinical decision-making.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and certified by the NCCPA or Nurse Practitioner Program and certified by the ANCC or AANP
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to practice in the State of Texas
- Licensed and certified to practice in Family Medicine
- Current DEA and CPR certification
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- Ability to meet and maintain credentialing and privileging requirements
- Comfortable working as a solo provider in a clinic team setting
- Computer literacy with ability to navigate electronic health record systems
- Excellent customer service and professional communication
- Ability to interact with diverse backgrounds
- Strong teamwork with ability to work independently
- Sound judgment and confidentiality
Responsibilities
- Interview members to obtain medical history, perform exams, order tests, prescribe medications and treatments
- Provide continuity of care for members with chronic conditions
- Make referrals for secondary and tertiary care with the care team
- Perform medical procedures per issued privileges
- Provide health maintenance visits and immunization planning
- Conduct employment and other required physical examinations
- Screen for STDs and provide family planning and education
- Document and code all member contacts in the EHR
- Be an active member of the medical team and participate in team meetings
- Contribute to clinical committees, education and quality reviews
- Support organizational initiatives aligned with our payvider model
